Our Technical Director Cliff Fudge will be chairing this year’s Housing Summit. To be staged at the Arup Campus in Solihull on 11 October, the event will combine Government and Business interpretations of the outlook for housing in the UK.
A highly authoritative panel of speakers from the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government, the Bank of England and Savills will give their views on the economic conditions and the likely direction of policy for both public and private sector housing moving forward.
The political environment might be turbulent, but whatever the outcome of the next few weeks some factors are unchanged: an increasingly desperate shortage of housing, a focus on building methods, quality and sustainability, and a need for regulatory oversight of building practice.
This annual event is centrally located to attract an audience from across the country and provides the opportunity to listen to an exceptionally high calibre speaker panel at a price that is framed to allow maximum attendance.
Our own Cliff Fudge, whose thirty-year career in the housing industry adds perspective to the current market, has the challenging task of keeping the day’s discussions on track.
