Shift Electrical Engineer
Location: Pollington, East Riding of Yorkshire

We're looking for a talented Shift Electrical Engineer to help in ensuring operational efficiency and provide immediate assistance for equipment breakdowns. If you have a knack for problem-solving and a passion for engineering, we want to hear from you! This role works on a shift pattern alongside the production teams, covering Monday to Sunday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting both reactive and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment
- Monitoring plant performance
- Maintaining cleanliness in the workshop and factory areas
- Contributing to improvement initiatives, and participating in project discussions.
Requirements:
- Time served or suitably recognised qualification in production or Electrical Engineering (e.g. ONC, EAL level 3 NVQ in Electrical Engineering )
- Demonstrable practical experience in both reactive and preventative electrical maintenance
- Understanding of basic programming to allow fault PLC finding
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Team player with excellent communication
- Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and experience in relevant software (e.g. design and calculation software)
- Safety conscious with proficient knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate risks to safe levels.
